Start the Mac companion

终端运行下面这条命令。首次会打开浏览器登录 Cursor；成功后打印二维码、局域网 IP 和 6 位配对码。

Run this in Terminal. Sign in to Cursor in the browser when asked. You get a QR code, LAN IP, and a 6-digit pairing code.

Scan the QR code, or type the Mac IP, port, and pairing code. Same Wi‑Fi or Tailscale both work.

What you can do

  • 本机目录，不必 Git Local folders, no Git Agent 在你指定的 Mac 文件夹工作，不需要把仓库推到远端。 The agent works in a folder you choose on your Mac. No remote repository required.
  • 实时进度 Live progress 流式输出、锁屏实时活动，任务完成可发通知。 Streaming output, Live Activities, and an optional notification when a task finishes.
  • 语音输入 Voice input 可选口述，把语音转成文字再发出去。 Optional dictation turns speech into text in the composer.
  • 归档历史 Archive history 左滑归档。归档对话只读，需要时可再翻看。 Swipe to archive. Archived chats stay available read-only.
